Here I am nearly two years post graduation taking and passing my VTNE for the first time. VetTechPrep was an invaluable resource in knocking off the rust during my 45 day preparation for the exam. The quality of questions are top tier as well as the breakdowns and explanations for incorrect answers. But for me personally the real nail setter was the high level of organization presented by the curated study plan. Every week VetTechPrep would present me with an achievable yet challenging number of both practice and mock test questions to complete. And while none of the literal questions appeared on the VTNE, the critical thinking skills honed via VetTechPrep made narrowing down the answer choices to a 50/50 fairly regular. In summation I can not recommend VetTechPrep enough for anyone preparing for their VTNE. Be they a new grad or old dog.

I used VTP based on experience of coworkers and mutuals, everyone I talked to speaked highly of their exams. I used the PowerPages™ and the practice exams numerous times, I truly believe that the way the questions are formulated in the exams or the multiple choices questions prepare the test taker for the actual VTNE. It helps you put in perspective how the test is worded out and helps you understand how the wording works and what the question is asking for. I recommend fully any vet tech looking to take the VTNE to use VTP to help study even if you use other resources. A bit pricey for the minimum wage overworked common vet tech but still worth it.

VetTechPrep was amazing!! I did their 3-month prep pace leading up to my VTNEs and that really did a great job of keeping me organized and focused. I could study during slow time at work or on the metro, anywhere to squeeze in some knowledge and stay on top of things. The most helpful thing they did for me was help me learn and memorize my root words. Even if I didn’t recognize a question on the VTNE, it was really easy to be able to at least eliminate answers because I knew my root words which I still use years later
